The name and decor might lead one to believe this is another of St. Paul's famous Irish bars, but it really is not. It is a corner bar with a little more character than your average joint. Amidst a long stretch of bars, the location makes this the perfect stop for people attending an event at the RiverCentre . The appealing seating arrangement allows the conversation to flow undeterred. The dining area is wide-open and accommodates the crowds quite well. Specialty beers, cocktails, wine and soda can be ordered. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta and appetizers are the menu favorites.

Ever heard of a Reservation?

I have too. That's why drinking and dining there is great.

Do not go here if in St. Paul for a special event!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/05
I was there to eat dinner before a concert on a Saturday afternoon, about 4:15PM. When I walked in, there were about 3-4 empty tables, but was told there was no room and would have to go to their upstairs pub. There are A LOT of steps going upstairs and was disappointed in the small, crowded bar I found. My dining companion & I asked for waters and had to find our own menus. Since there was a concert, it was a "limited special events" menu, which meant $9 burger & fries. I had seen food served in the downstairs that was not even on this menu. About 4:20, a waitress brought us waters and we asked for a couple of minutes to decide, at which time she said the upstairs grill was not even open yet! Finally, about 4:30, we asked another waitress just when the grill did open and she said not for another fifteen minutes! We left and ate elswhere, as did other parties. I bit my tongue from confronting the hostess about not informing us of this situation.
