If you like to party hearty, then El Hilo is the place for you. Whenever your travels take you to Puerto Vallarta and you've got the itch to get wild and crazy this joint is the place that smokes! Offering great food, with an American accent, nobody goes home hungry from El Hilo. Be sure to bring your dancin' feet, as you will want to groove to the crowded dance floor. Plenty of music rocks the house with international favorites played by both DJs and live bands. When you go there, it's not necessary that you dress to impress, but there is a strictly enforced dress code, so forget those funky sneakers and tacky tank tops.

We loved it

My friend and I came back from Puerto Vallarta recently. I fell in love with El Hilo's. We had went on Wednesday June 18th and the doormen was so nice to us he asked us if we wanted to go in and we were like sure, we got open bar and table right away. Everyone was just so nice there. We ended up going on a pub-crawl on Thursday El Hilo's was one of the stops(they all remembered us from wednesday night lol) and we went again on friday night. I cannot wait to go back again. I miss everyone there.

Fiesta de Cinco Hermanas

My 4 sisters and I dropped in in the middle of the afternoon. The waiter, Joshua, and bartender, Juan, were great fun. The music was loud and great. We danced for nearly 3 hours in the big, open air window and downed 6 "buckets" of beer. It was THE BEST fun and we can't wait to go back!

Can't to go back!

This place was off the hook. Spent most of my week long trip there dancing my ass off. The staff is great. They don't try to rip you off and there's a good mix of people. It's a little small but the atmosphere totally makes up for it. I had the best time ever!

LOVED HILO!!

Hilo was the best place to go in Puerto Vallarta especially for young kids (18-21). A lot of places in Puerto Vallarta are tourists combined with the locals, but at Hilo i never ever noticed one local there, except for the workers who were extremely professional. You can dance on the bar, the drinks are great and theres 2 stories and a great view of the street and the ocean!! I would definitly reccomend this place

Dance party central!

El Hilo was an absolute blast. We met A LOT of great people both local and non-local--we will be spending the majority of our time here next time we visit. The atmosphere was great and the dancing was more fun than we ever expected. Drinks were great and not as pricy as some of the other bars in the area. I highly recommend!! A great place for anyone and everyone!!

best time of my life

in the past 3 months i went to PV twice..i went to all the clubs..but we ALWAYS ended up at the hilo every night.. the waiters were halarious & not to mention HOT ;)..they were so much fun!!!..we hung out with some all night we danced on the bar all night and spent about 300 us a night..we couldnt stop.. im going again in a couple months so they will be seeing me 2 weeks straight!!! must say it was the best time ive ever had yet

Modern, Fancy, and Sexy

It's a wonderful, huge yet modern bar/disco. I really enjoyed the music, they played all the modern hip-hop to Madonna, and even some techno, but you can't leave without dancing on the bar, which is fun. It's one of the biggest supplied bars i've ever seen with all types of drinks. The Statues of the angel and pancho villa are very nice, it's a very upbeat type of club, i will absolutely go back!!!

HILOS WHERE IS HAPPENIN

Fri-Sun this is were EVERYONE was. The bartenders are cool. Its two floors with bars and dancing. This was definitly the best place we went to when were were down there!!!!

I Loved Hilo so much because they treated us like Royalty.. we knew each and every person there made us feel at home the music and atmosphere was great.. Even if it was just to stop by and say hi they would kick someone out of their seats just to let us sit down we ended up everynight there.. I keep intouch with many of the workers from there.. and i cant wait to go back and see all my favorite people from there

HILO=AMAZING!!!

I loved going to Hilo, we went there the first night over spring, and then went back every single night! The music was amazing, their was a staircase up to the bar, so they obviously wanted people dancing on it. The staff was so nice, and very talented and the bouncers were hilarious!! It was my first time in Mexico, and I want to go back STRICTLY just to go to HILO!!!
