Get your walking shoes on because you are going to need them. It was a great tour of the history of downtown. Lots of murder-ghost stories, and interesting facts along the way. Good for right around Halloween. You really have the opportunity to take in the mysteries of Indianapolis. Had a great time, even though the weather was not so great. Totally worth the time and money.
Our family has been on all the tours but one ( we will be taking this shortly) Every tour has been very well done -informative, fun and thought provoking . We are really lucky to have this offered in the Indy area- great for out of town guests ,too - they couldn't be nicer . Excellent value for the money - beats a movie every time( and I love movies!)
Wow. Went on the Ghost Tour July 1, 2006. It was amazing to learn the history of some of the theaters, and other areas in Indianapolis. Who would have know a church in downtown Indy would be haunted. The ghost story about each place we visted were terrific. The Barton Hotel Ghost Story especially nice. The tour guides were great. The main host is of German decent, and his accent just makes the tour even so much better. It took about 2 hours to complete, but well worth the time. They even let us stop and get a drink along the tour route. Even though we did not see any ghosts, you just had this erie feeling that someone or something was watching you at each stop. I would reccommend this tour to people that live here, and people from out of town. There is so much information I did not know existed in Indianpolis. I am looking forward to taking the Westfield tour in the future. The price for this tour is very affordable as well.
I thought the tour was great. We didn't go into the buildings but the history and the ghost stories were fantastic. Plus, we were staying at one of the places that ended up being on the tour! Gave us the creeps big time that night!
My mother and I had a wonderful time on the Lockerbie tour of downtown Indy! I loved the history lesson almost as much as the spooky stories! The cool October night was the perfect setting. It's something affordable, fun and different to do with a group of friends. Then you can stay up all night talking about it!!!
The Westfield tour was really fun, especially the surprise vistors in the middle of the park.
For the 1.5 hour tour (that was actually closer to 2 hours), we got a lot of history and a lot about the ghosts in the town.
Westfield is a neat place to visit anyway, but the tour made it especially nice.
The prices were also very fair and the people were friendly!
