Bart Rockett's Dinner Theatre
Enjoy a magical theatrical production at this two story, 200 seat, state-of-the-art theater that includes a Bose surround sound system, laser lighting, and fiber optic technology. Dine on terrific meals while watching spectacular illusions, amazing ventriloquism, and hilarious fun acts. A magic and novelty shop is also on site.
You would think that Bart Rockett would have understood that New Year's Eve night he should up the entertainment a bit more.
His comedy was funny most of the time, and the magic was fairly good, but where he lost us was bringing out his family too many times, and then showing a clip about his mother, cancer patients (children) at the hospital, and having his son on the stage too much. It's New Year's Eve, leave those clips and family out of the show. We want to be entertained, not going through a sort of "St. Jude's Hospital" telethon.
Would not attend his show again.
My family just returned from Pensacola last week and we went to the Bart Rocket show this past wednesday nite. It was amazing to see such a small theatre produce what it did. I think our tickets were like $20 a piece but tehy could have easily been a $100 las vegas show ticket and i wouldnt have noticed the difference in the quality of the show. The lobby and restrooms could have been a little cleaner but the show made up for it 10x over. We didnt have the dinner there simply because we had already eaten and to be honest didnt know waht to expect as far as quality but kicked ourselves when we got there. It looked good and we asked a couple of other guests after the show and they said it was excellent sooooo the wife is making us come back to eat there sometime in the future...haha. Anyways, just thought i'd post our experience of the show. Its got my recommendation.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this attraction. We had nothing in the evenings to do until we found out about this place through our hotel. For $60+ we had a lot more fun for 2 hours than we did throwing $100 in an hour at the stupid Track/arcade place...plus we got a great meal! I highly recommend for all families.
