Funtrackers Amusement Park
A great amusement park that the whole family can enjoy which includes race cars for children of all ages, a pro track for adults, an 18 hole miniature golf course, bumper boats, a mechanical bull, an arcade with over 80 games, and special rides for children under ten. Flyer Bluff Convention Center behind facility is available for special events and parties.
First off the workers were terrible. A friend of mine was with me and to flirt they sprayed her with water on bumper boats and then hosed her too, then while we were getting out they left me waiting to park busy saying my friend could take her shirt off since she was wearing a bikini. Then we were followed to the himalaya where the manager ride with her, said she was cute, held her hand, cussed multiple times, and flicked his worker off multiple times also. The manager then followed us around to work where we went. The go-cart track had gravel on it that would get in your eyes, and when I got back to our room my purple shorts were bleached on the bottom because there had been bleach on the bumper boats seat or in the water. Don't come here.
The go karts are the best I love the PRO track and the kids love the ROOKIE track. The most fun was getting wet at the BUMBER BOATS. The Golf course is good better at night (not so hot) The resturant is AWESOME race theme I think the new owner is doing a good job changing things for the better now they have a card swipe system it is just awesome no more quarters or tickets everything is on the card . We will be back and back and back
A huge waste of time and money. Half of the games in the arcade were not working properly, although they worked enough to take our quarters and that's about it. We skipped the bumper boats because the water looked and smelled disgusting. The so-called miniature golf course was a joke. It's just 18 holes of different colored astroturf, no windmills, etc. to try and putt the ball through. There was also a NASTY smell on the 6th hole; either someone couldn't hold it while they were playing and relieved themself in the bushes or a filthy diaper was left nearby. We didn't even finish golfing because our daughter was begging to leave. Horrible experience.
Our family was in Corpus for the weekend after a couple of days at the beach we just wanted to take the kids for some excitement. We all decided to try Funtrackers, the kids and even us adults had lots of fun. We plan on going again real soon.
I took my son and his friend. They were so excited, as they had not gone yet. It was very disappointing. There is no waterfall. The rides last only minutes even when no one else is there. The workers just stand around and turn things on with the least amount of effort possible. No employee greats you or welcomes you. Definitely "people skills" are lacking at Fun Trackers. The place is run down. The mini golf course is pitiful. No wonder we can't attract more people to spend money in Corpus Christi.
Don't take your children to this park. You definitely do not get your money's worth!!! Save it an go to the beach!
We have been to Fun trackers the past 3 summers. We go to Port A for a week and take a trip to fun trackers during the week. There are 15 of us from age 15 to 70. All of us have a good time. We love the championship course and were sad to hear it may not be there this year. The track is fun but the workers are too touchy. We love to race each other but if we slide around a corner they will chew us out and it takes all the fun out of it. We have fun on the inside too. The dance machine was a blast. Funny to see everyone try to keep up!
As a Go Kart Goer, and enthusiast, Fun trackers ranks about average. It could be above average if the staff were not Track (bump) nazis on the the championship course. Rubbin is racing. But seriosuly, the track is slick and canot hold turns, and therefore car tend to slip and slide causing slight bumps or spinouts. Something. .Aside from that.. It is generally clean, abut the prces are a little high for the type of cart. It seems like a safe and fairly clean place to go.
We really enjoyed ourselves. It is a great place to take your children. It is clean and safe.
I was also impressed with the staff. They appeared to enjoy their jobs, not just endure them. We've been to other places, and the staff acted like you were putting them out if you needed any help. But here, they laughed and joked with us, interacted with the kids, and helped us when we needed it. I just wish they had a location in Houston!
This place was absolutely horrible! Everything was out of order. The putt putt course was the most boring thing I've ever seen done. I didn't even finish it was so horrible. The accomodations were very dirty. I can't believe I fell for this tourist trap.
Great place. It's sort of pricey, but not as expensive as most "amusement parks." It has a young, lively staff who help you with all and any problems. It's clean, safe, and fun. It has minigolf, go-karts, bumper-boats, and some kiddy rides all outdoors. Indoors are a good set of arcade games, classic and new style.
