Cole Park, Corpus Christi

Very nice park along Ocean St. The kid's playground is under construction. I enjoyed walking on the pier with the ocean breeze blowing through my hair. Definitely worth visting

My daughter and family recently relocated to Corpus Christi. On my granddaughters first visit to Cole Park she declared it "the best park ever". Over Easter weekend I had the opportunity to go there with a few of my grandchildren. This place is fabulous! The kids were thoroughly entertained for hours. The playscape is fashioned like a sandcastle and even has secret passageways. We love this park and can't wait to go back.

My family and I just went to this Cole Park and I found it to be fairly nice. Beware the restrooms! Let the kids enjoy the play area, and do some fishing for goodness sakes. Oh, bring a flashlight though. The pier lights don't work.

We had a birthday party at Cole Park last year, it wasn't run down or torn. We recently went summer 2008 and it was not run down.....It's best you go and see for yourself and form your own opinion. Have fun! Corpus has a lot of fun things to do!!!

Cole Park is not a place where I would ever take my children. The children's play area has been recently vandalized, not to mention people actually relieving themselves on the childrens play area, (ie, swings/slides). The ant's are unbearable so there is no sitting in what very little grass they have. I feel this could be a lovely park, but it is in need of extensive re-landscaping and better lawn up-keep. Trees for shade should also be included in new landscapping. Let us all write to the city of Corpus Christi for a better place to take our children and families. Thank you.

Cole Park is a great place to stop by and rest during a road trip or stop and play with the kids. Also great for a family picnic! It might be a bit windy, but worth the view. Make sure to take a camera!
