a family get together
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/06
my parents came from boston and stayed in this bed and breakfast, for 3 days, it was beautiful, and the owner was gracious enough to let all of us join them for breakfasts each morning, at no extra charge, we even had an afternoon tea the last day, it was beautifully served, and totally delicious, i will be booking more parties there soon.

Perfect Bridal Shower
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/05
If you are looking for the perfect place for a bridal shower--you have found it!! After reading all of the reviews I was skeptical of this tea room. However, when I visited this beautiful home I was truely taken away. The owner of the home (Linda) is terrific to work with and goes over and above to ensure your stay is perfect. Women as young as 23-90 years old attended a bridal party I hosted and everyone was thrilled (they especially loved the hats and boas--what a neat idea!) Thank you!

A wonderful time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/05
What a wonderful evening we had. I was looking for place to celebrate my daughter's birthday and found the Antique Rose on the internet. After discussing different options for dinner we came up with the perfect menu and everything turned out just fabulous. Coming from Houston and always eating in the hustle and bustle of this hectice city, the evening was wonderful and we so enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful food. Thanks for a special evening for our family.

Like stepping back in time
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/05
I have enjoyed tea at Sheridan's finest Tea Room over a dozen times in the last year. It is one of my favorite treats for family, friends and out of town guests. Walking through the beautiful oval windowed front door is truly like stepping back in time into the Victorian era. The atmosphere is one of Sheridan's old historic homes and has been decorated true to the Victorian period. The owner is very gracious and accomodating. She gives just the right amount of attention and service without 'hovering' around her customers. Guests are always welcomed to stay and visit as long as they wish and the tea keeps coming! The menu offers a nice range of prices and selections. The scones are delectable - homemade and always warm from the oven! Other Tea Rooms I have visited have neither the personal service, homemade goodies, or wide varitey of menu options. I highly recommend The Anitque Rose Emporium Tea Room for anyone wanting a lovely, relaxing get-away from the pace and demands of the 21st century.
