Remember Sequoia Drive in Sebastopol and the Parkside Cafe in Santa Rosa... or do you like the Piner Cafe? I was so excited to find the next generation here in Healdsburg at the Healdsburger! It is a fun family & dog friendly place (read big shady patio with some toys for the younger kids). The food is incredible, reasonably priced and classic drive in' with some cajun & healthy twists (turkey, chicken, & garden burgers). Right now they're open for lunch or early dinner (11-6pm), but have a couple of special Wednesday nights like Bike Nite (every 2nd & 4th Wed 4-8pm) and Classic Car Nite (every 3rd Wed.). The shakes are just like they were at Sequoia and even the specialty fruit shakes will make a come back once the demand is there. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that there's even wireless! It's great to know that even as Healdsburg Square turns more toward the tourists and wine tasters.. there's still a great place to find a local burger!
Best burger I ever had. The ladies we're very nice and even asked me how I wanted my burger cooked. Everything was very tasty from the buns to the fresh cut french fries. Can't say enough about this place!
