Fireside Restaurant & Tavern
Intimately dine by the fire, on a decadent cheese plate, or an wood-fired Rib-Eye, completed by our extensive wine list; or kick back and enjoy the best burger in the area, washed down by a Belgian style ale that you wont find anywhere else
Fireside is my favorite!! From the food to the service. Seriously have never had a bad experience. My wife and I have probably had everything on the menu, been going there for two years. I myself love the beers, they really seem to be into beer. I favor belgian ales like Delerium, Kasteels, Triple karmeliet, etc.real belgians!! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
My wife and I loved the burgers there but that is no longer the case. The prices of their food has gone way up while customer service and food quality has gone way down. Waited over a half hour for a burger that was sub-par. Bartender KIM was very rude and unprofessional. Staff refuse to take a phone order without a credit card even if your going to pay cash. It's just not worth it anymore.
This place is one of the best I have eaten at. My favorite is the chicken wrap, bit pricey but delicious. The burgers are really good as are the chicken tenders and the chicken sandwiches and the breakfast potatoes. Seems that they boil the chicken first and then flame grill it which is why it is so juicy and full of flavor. Decent wine & beer selection and the staff are friendly and attentive on most occasions. Love the interior with its wooden panels and fire and they have a nice size bar with TV's. The only con is that it is a bit pricey, but its worth it for good food. There are places in town that have the same prices but sell garbage for food. Usually go once a week and haven't been dissapointed yet.
Ate their twice, the food is fantastic. The chicken tenders are to die for, as is the burger and the cheesesteak. The service is great, on both occasions we got the server with an Eastern European accent, he is probably one of the best servers we have had and we eat out alot. Can't wait to go back again
If you like smoked Prime Rib-- this is the place to go. A little expensive, but worth the price. Whenever we have guests staying with us, this is one of the places we have to take them.
Even though we don't get many cold nights in Vegas, this place has at least two fireplaces in seperate rooms and makes your dining experience even better. These rooms are great for company gatherings or large groups. We had a Christmas party here and are planning on coming back next year. We have recommend this place to all of our friends and they haven't been disappointed.
nice place...plenty of service...host was great, bar tender made the rounds and waiter kept stopping by
food...i went with the cajun pasta...sausage, chicken and shrimp...with penne
booths were really large...and tables were generous
large bar and parking lot could handle a lot of customers
the are at the time of this visit is still under developement so there isn't much, but i would go back to this place
Looking more like a lodge than a food establishment, Fireside seems to invite the warm, cozy feeling while eating/drinking there.
It's worth noting that the map is NOT correct when looking it up at Yahoo. The location is actually at the corner of Spencer and St. Rose Pkwy., not Maryland and St. Rose.
The fare here ranges from salads to pizzas to steaks and most everything in between. Honestly, I've not had a bad meal in the dozens of visits I've made. The burgers taste like they just came off of a grill in someone's backyard as opposed to sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be served. Surprisingly, I even found the pizzas to be very good.
The chef and staff are very engaging, the service is very well done. The atmosphere can be a little subdued during the lunch and early afternoon hours as most of the bar patrons are busy gambling. I've never been there in the evening, so I can't speak to what the night life is like there.
The daily specials are a very nice departure from a very expansive menu, again offering something for almost everyone. The seating is comfortable and there are enough tv's to be seen from practically any vantage point.
