The first few times was good in 2009,2010. Don't know what happened but last night I had the worst meal ever. They need a better chef that knows how to cook Thai, Indonesian and Vietamese.. I wont go back and dont want the 10% coupons either. Not worth it..!!
The Sate is allright... Having had Indonesian and Thai food all my life this has to be one of the worst restaurant in Cary..
Don't waste your money there are enough good Asian restaurants in this city..
What a disappointment. After reading all the great reviews I decided to give this place a try. I ordered lemon grass pork chop and pad thai. The lemon grass pork chop didn't have any lemon grass flavor and the pad thai lacked the delicate combination of flavors of sweet, sour, spicy, salty..etc. Though the food lacked flavor it was fresh. The best thing I had there was a Thai iced-tea. If you just want to fill up your tummy, this is a good place for lunch but I'd go elsewhere for better tasting Asian food.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY makes better Pad Thai! I don't think there's anything on the menu that I haven't tried and it's all great. If you don't like Pad Thai, try the Indian Curry Chicken or Tilapia, or the Green Chicken Curry , or the Honey Walnut Shrimp or the Macadamia Chicken or the Shrimp Sambal or the... well, you get the idea!
If you want to get away from a corporate menu and try some great local restaurants this one should be on the top of your list.
This is the best restaurant that I have been to in the year that I have lived in the area! I love the Pad Thai, so I get it again and again, but we always take family when they are in town and they always order something different-it has all been superb! They are VERY friendly and do a fabulous job! Very kid-friendly place and yes my kids Love the food too!!!
We've tried every item on the menu and have found all delicious! Not the usual Oriental food, but a blend from many countries and definitely the best pad thai around! Every dish prepared to diner's specific taste! We highly recommend this restaurant!
Great Place: Good restaurant with a modern feel that serves Thai and variations of it. Prices are reasonable, especially for lunch (your meal comes with soup at lunch), and their menu has been improved recently.
It is located in the shopping center at the corner of Cary Parkway and Old Apex Road - just beside the Ace Hardware.
Been there quite a lot on weekly basis for dinner for the past 3 months..
First time there i was kinda dissapointed cause i thought it's gonna be a coffe place, but i look at the menu and it's so colorful i tought let's give it a shot..
So i tried the green curry (thai) for a start and it was awesome..
Kept coming back for more, tried the red curry, and my personal favorite, the Indonesian/Malaysian Laksa soup with shrimps and tofu..
Small restaurant, very casual, and great service from a single server.. Menu's very affordable, range between $9 to $15 for one dinner entree.. Can't beat that deal for awesome Pan Asian meal, they also got some unique beers like korean and thai, they don't serve wine but i'm fine with that.. Too bad they don't serve Tap..
Try the coconut rice pudding at the end, it's gonna be an experience..
