Don't go here if
-You want authentic Asian food. Rice is gummy and tastes like it was made hours earlier.
-You want caring service. Waitstaff of typical college ilk=I'm way too smart and important to be in this job.
-You want prompt service. A recent visit took nearly 10 minutes just to be recognized by waiter in a half full restaurant at lunchtime with plenty of staff. Hostess was reading a novel. Waiter asked if I wanted change for a $10 lunch bill when I gave him a twenty.
This review is not just based on one visit--several visits have garnered similar results--I now just officially give up.
The decor is nice--the Bombay company meets the Pump Room.
If you are looking for more elegant Asian Food, this is the place to go. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and the food is ALWAYS good.
They change their menu a bit, but if its on there I recommend the Pin Noodle Soup and the Oolong Marinated Sea bass. For a drink the Forbidien City is SO good, its like an even yummier Long Island Ice tea.
Depending on were you sit, it can be kinda dark in the seating area....
If you are going on a busy night (friday, saturday) make a reservation....they are always busy...
