This is my favorite Mexican place in Quincy. I usually go once a week, at least. Prices are good, and servings are large. Food comes out hot and fast. I have had a few problems, but they always make it right. I could not imagine my life without Maya!
I've got to agree with the earlier review from the person that lived in Southern California. I, also lived in So Cal for several years, and I gotta tell ya, Maya is great! My boss introduced me to Maya a couple of years ago(btw, he's from Mexico) and it's my first choice for Mexican food in Quincy. Best in the midwest. Their salsa is great too.
My husband and I use to eat there for lunch once a week and we loved it but then the food quality and service started going down hill. the last two times we went they didn't bring us what we ordered and the server was not friendly at all. I will not be back.
I'll echo the previous 5 star ratings for this restaurant. I lived in Southern California for over 30 years so I know Mexican food. Mayas has some of the best I've ever tasted! Excellent service and reasonable prices. This is my favorite restaurant in Quincy.
My husband and I love this restaurant, and actually make the trek to Quincy, Illinois to eat here. I have been many places around the US, but this is the best! The wait staff are great, the food is fabulous and prepared very quickly, just all around wonderful!
