Dots American Restaurant, Hopkinsville

This location has since closed. Sad to see it go! The food was decent. sometimes a bit salty. But the location now has a locally owned and operated Senior Lopez. Very very good Mexican food. Classic and tasty!

This is the first place my Soldier wants to eat when he comes home from Deployment! We've eaten here once before and it was amazing! My hubby doesn't ask for much but when he does... you know it's good!

Me and my husband ate here Saturday because I got a gift certificate. We paid the difference for the meal $8.32. Why did i check my checking account and the waitress charged us the full meal including the $8.32. The entire meal was $41.64. I will be calling this restaurant when it opens. If you have a gift certificate my advice is to pay cash for the difference. If it wasn't for this error I would have given the restaurant 5 stars. I will keep everyone updated if this gets corrected and I will revise my review.

We recently had lunch at Dot's while on a motorcycle ride. The soup was delicious, thick and plentyful. The salad was crisp, fresh and had the perfect amount of toppings. Our drinks were always kept full. The tea was delicious. You could tell is was freshly made. The service was top notch. Our server even went above and beyond to find us an alternate route to Cadiz from Hopkinsville. We were very pleased. Thank you for a great lunch.

In its first year the restaurant did well, but now in its third year, the economy and the bad choices seem to be taking a toll on the restaurant. We need the customer views on what can be done to improve the quality and the life of our restaurant. Food is grat....the service is compariable to that of the Hopkinsville area...slow and when a mistake is made the coustomer is made to feel as though it is their fault....will not be sad to see this town go.

While visiting my daughter in Hopkinsville. We decided to eat at Dots, what a great choice. I ate the Philly steak and onion rings. What a great choice. My daughter ate the large portion of catfish and dots. We topped it of with the banana pudding pie (delicious). I would recommend Dots, can not wait to eat there again. Not related to anyone there, Great eating. Love the Smoke Free atmosphere.

Went w/ my 2 toddlers and husband & had a wonderful experience. We had meatloaf, chicken fried steak, and the sampler platter. It was all very good. The service was excellent. Everyone was VERY courteous and welcoming.

I went to Dot's while on vacation and it was WONDERFUL! The food and service were great. I loved our waitress's accent, and she was very sweet. I would definitely reccommend it!

I ate at the resturant for the first time this weekend and I LOVED IT!!! The food and the service was GREAT I had no complaints. I will for sure be going back!!! Who ever doesnt like the food needs to get there taste buds checked out because something is wrong.
