Jade stone/Swedish combo was great on my back. Been doin some heavy lifting since my recent move and needed somethin to get the tension and knots out my back. Had Mike work on me and he was great. Definitely am going to recommend to all my co-workers!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUY GOING TO THIS PLACE!!!! I should have known the service would be bad win they said they would charge me with the tip already included. The session only lasted 45 minutes and the lashes were bothering me within a couple of days, this is after about a third of them had already fallen off!!!!!!!!! Best place to go to if you want lash extensions is Beba salon in Westwood. I ended up going there after this bad service and the girl charged me less and spent 1.5 hours on me!
JUST RECENTLY WENT TO LE PETITE, FOUND IT ONLINE AFTER LOOKIN FOR LASH EXTENSIONS NEAR MY PLACE, SILVER-LAKE AREA...THE PLACE WAS SO CUTE AND INVITING. =O)
THE LADY WHO DID MY LASHES WAS SO SWEET AND IT WAS A PRETTY RELAXING EXPERIENCE. YOUR LAYIN DOWN THE WHOLE TIME..
ANYWAY, AFTER I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR I FINALLY HAD THE LASHES I ALWAYS TRIED TO ACHIEVE WITH STRIPS, BUT BETTER!
SUPER NATURAL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
GOING BACK IN FOR A MASSAGE WITH TY THIS SATURDAY, CANT WAIT HEARD HE WAS AMAZING!
I'm not the type of person who writes reviews on a place that I didn't like but THIS experience is an exception...
I received a gift certificate to Le Petite so I called to make an appointment but no one answered. I left a message but after no one returned the call after a couple days, I called back. When I spoke with the receptionist I requested a Swedish massage instead of the Jade Stone massage that was designated on the gift certificate because I am not a fan of stone massages and she told me "No. The massage on your gift certificate is better anyway." (I know that the only reason she said that was because if I had a Swedish Massage there would be money left on my gift certificate to put toward another service in the future). But, I went along with her because I didn't want the headache of arguing with her. So, my appointment was made for 1:30 3 weeks away... the day of the massage the spa called me at 11:00am and requested that I come in at 12:00-12:15 instead of my original appointment time because "someone called in sick." And although I live in Manhattan Beach which is quite a drive from Hollywood, I told her I would do my best to get there by 12:15. So, I rushed out the door and as I'm pulling in their small driveway the clock turns 12:10 and my phone starts to ring, low and behold, it's the receptionist at the spa asking me if I was running late. I answered her with "No, actually I'm running an hour and a half early." So, now at this point I'm just starting to get frustrated with the whole experience but I was trying to think positive so I could relax and enjoy the massage but the worst was yet to come. The massage was THE WORST massage I've ever had. I was in pain the first 30 mins as she dug away at my shoulders. And as she continued to dig at the rest of my body she spent unequal amounts of time on my body... she would massage my left leg for several minutes and then only work on my right leg for several seconds. In addition to the inconsistencies in her repertoire she also had long nails that dug into my skin. FINALLY the massage that was 50 minutes (supposed to be 60 minutes) was over, thankfully. Normally, the spa will let you relax in the bed for a few minutes before making you re-enter the world... instead she gave me 30 seconds at the most, knocked on the door and asked me if I was ready. So, as I was abruptly told to leave the room, they didn't even say thank you, have a nice day as I left... when I was MORE than friendly when I should have been very upset. Later that night as I'm talking with my boyfriend, he goes to pull me in for a hug and as he grabs my back I realize that my entire back feels like it has been beaten with sticks. It is now 2 days later and I feel like I have little balls under my skin in my back that are sensitive to the touch. I am in such pain, even holding my shoulder up trying to type this review.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. Stay far away... don't waste your time, money health and sanity on this place.
The couples massage was very very good. We both loved the quaintness and charm of the spa. The service was very professional and I could tell the staff was professional and well trained. We enjoyed it so much that we purchased several gift cerfificates for our family and friends for the holidays.
I came in last minute today because I had bought my wife a package several years ago. I decided to treat myself and boy did I ever. The Jade 90 minute was amazing. Not only was it great but it helped my leg which has been numb for a while. Anyway, this was a great experience.
I got the best eyelashes I've ever gotten and an excellent facial too. I saw this place and saw all the different treatments offered and I decided to give it a whirl. It turned out great and I bought a certificate for friend who also loved it. Best spa in Los Angeles.
I called to make an appointment for a massage because I had left-over balance from a gift certificate I had used with the spa last year. Their website said the massage I wanted was $115, but when I tried to make the reservation they told me I would be responsible for $138, which is the massage plus tip, and that the amount was non-negotiable! When I reminded them that "gratuity" is by definition something that is paid at the discretion of the person receiving the service, they were adamant that the amount for the tip was non-negotiable and must be added to the regular service charge. When I reminded them that a tip is supposed to be based on the quality of the service as determined by the person receiving it, they claimed that they provide great service, which obviously missed the point entirely! Well, a spa visit is supposed to be a place to relax, not get stressed. So I cancelled my appointment. This is not a place I would want to go give my business to.
This place is horrible. They not only charge a lot of money for their services, but there is a mandatory 20% gratuity that they charge you up front- BEFORE you even get your service. Furthermore, the owner and staff here are extremely unprofessional and rude. They also try to sell you more services that you don't need/want. The result of my treatment was extremely horrible and had to be repaired by another salon. I will never go back again!
