Terrible. Pot stickers were so overcooked, they crunched like raw pasta. Very obviously frozen previously. Gross. If you re ordering the pineapple chicken, be prepared to sift through lots of huge chunks of ginger. I enjoy very spicy foods, and understand ginger for flavor, but chunks that look just like the pineapple? So unbelievably bitter. Would not refund. I was really looking forward to this place, given the previous reviews. Don t waste your time or money.
Went to Nee House for the first time tonight based on a co-workers recommendation. Our main entree was served and suddenly we had ants crawling around our table and plates. I brought this to the attention of the wait staff and she reacted by going to get another server. They removed the bowl of rice from our table, brushed the ants off of the table and brought another bowl of rice. They didn't take away our two entrees or clean the table. There wasn't even an apology, the staff acted like it was normal to have ants in the food. We did not finish our meal and they asked us if we would like to take it home with us. I onced again told them we had a problem with ants at the table and did not want the food. The server then brought us the bill with no apology, no offer to bring us fresh food, just the bill charging us for the full meal that we did not eat.
Horrible customer service, no one smiles, no one says thank you for your business, they are slow, please, nothing just a bunch of young rude teenage girls. And its a shame beacause the food is really good. But I will not cater to a place that is so rude to thier customers. The waitress god mad at me because I paid her. Her face balled up as to say how dare you pay me for the food. I will not go visit them again, and for those of you who do, you will see what I mean as soon as you walk in the door.
The food is usually good but nothing over the top. Prices are average and ambiance is so so. It is a family owned/operated restaurant.
Beware though, service and customer care is a ZERO! The staff are all family and can not bother to smile or welcome you. Especially the Mother and Father. Most unpleasant people! The children don't want to be there but have to. So don't expect a pleasant experience, just good Chinese style food made to suit the Western taste. Expect a grumpy person to seat you, take your order, don't dare ask for more water or tea, pay your check, then leave sort of experience. Not recommended for a night out or a date! Good for take out.
This restaurant has the absolute worst customer service in the valley. We waited at the door without acknowledgement for 10 minutes. Once we were seated it was 30 minutes before our order was taken, and we didn't even get our food after a total of 1 hour and 45 mins from entering the door...
We were there for a birthday celebration .. what a disaster. After our horrific experience we decide to walk out of the restaurant with our 77 year old father( his birthday )and our 2 small children. We left $5.00 on the table for the soup he had eaten and the owner had the nerve to follow us out to insist we give her $3 more dollars for the soup.. There was no apology for the wait or the horrible service just a rude and and nasty demand for $3.. We will never go to this establishment again. I will do nothing but discourage anyone we know from ever being a patron of this place. The owner is a disgrace to to her own business.
This place is mediocre at best, and that's being kind. Almost every dish in our order came out at the same time, at least within two minutes of each other - soup, appetizers, main course. Unfriendly owner and wait staff. Chicken dish did not come with vegetables as described by waitress. Crab puffs were tasteless. Only one was eaten out of six but owner did not volunteer to take them off the bill. Our portion of rice was one stingy little cup - for two people. Would not recommend this place to anyone - the prices are high for the quality and portions. Stick with Flo's Asian or Pei Wei - at least you'll know you are getting very good food for your money, which is not what Nee House offers.
