Bennys Rod & Custom Pizza Cafe, Vancouver

I like the food, but dealing with the manager turned out to be a big hassle for us when we tried to book their room for a party. We went several weeks before to book the room and actually watched him write down our name on the date and time we requested. Three weeks later, when we all showed up for our party, he had double booked the room and given it to someone else. He offered a half-hearted apology but didn't go any further than that or even try to accommodate our 25 guests. We were very disappointed and moved our party to a different restaurant.

i eat there regularly and its always great!!!! everyone is friendly and they go above and beyond to keep smiles on my childrens faces!!!!! oh did i mention that the food is DELICIOUS!!!

I've had everything from the burgers to the pizza and its all great! The low boy has the prefect amount of olives on it and the Bennys Big Burger is big enough to share. Our food always comes out hot and within a short amount of time. If you're looking for a family place but need to get in and out this is the place to go. I've had a different server every time I come in but the best server I have yet to come across is a waitress named Taylor. She made my family and I feel like we were welcomed and she even remembers our order every time we come in. Bennys real is great food in a great place. It's nice to feel welcomed and be greeted by the owner and his wife when you come in.

Their pizza and sandwiches are good, but the service is unpredictable from good to downright rude or flippant. If I eat at a restaurant, I want good service along with the food. I go out to eat because the service at home (me) doesn't want to serve. I don't like paying for bad service.

My Family and I really enjoy their pizza, and the decor inside is cool. We have been there about 4 times in the last year or so, I will have to admit the service the first few times was poor, The waitress was indifferent and somewhat rude I was really quite mad, but the last visit was great, we had the waitress Mercedes she did a great job!

I'll admit, I have only hit this place 3 times and each time it was take out. The mushroom burger is fair, nothing to send off fireworks about, but the place is clean. My dislike is with the take out cashier. I know that they work there, but to keep llooking at the tip jar while I am standing there or picking it up even and looking at it is VERY crass and rude,. I never will leave them a tip (Except to maybe clean their figernails!) and make my own burgers at home.

i call bs on that last review. i actually have worked her for two year and we ALWAYS get a 0 when the food inspectors come in. honestly it is the cleanest resturant i have EVER worked in and tghe food is GREAT!

While Eating there a ton and A Buddy of mine working there found flys and spiders in food to be served. Once i got a plate of fries and there Mexican pizza the Pizza had a spider in the lettuce AND a fly on top of the pizza.

Great place to go after a game. Only thing they need is a flat screen TV to watch while you eat. Maybe a couple of them. Definately check them out! Really good food!

This place is great. Love the atmosphere! The boys love their burgers and pizza, and their chicken sandwich ain't so bad either! Kind of looks like a hole-in-the-wall place, but inside it's nice! Love it!
