I had lunch here with my family on Friday and since it was a Friday of Lent, we can't eat meat but we can eat fish so we went there. We sat outside and the weather was nice, the staff was friendly but we waited a while for food. Not too expensive, very reasonable. Dad got a 2 piece fish and chips and mom and I shared a 3 piece, but besides that amount in big pieces, they also has smaller pieces like halves or quarters so it was a good amount of fish. We got a fried vegetable combo (onion rings, fried zucchini, fried carrots, and fried mushrooms) I loved the taste of the fish, the batter was so crispy. They bring you bottles of ketchup, tartar sauce (which they say that they make), cocktail sauce and malt vinegar. It doesnt come with lemon unless you ask. I wanted ranch for my veggies and lemon for my fish, so I asked the guy, he showed me the fridge where they keep the ranch, but he said he would cut me lemon. I was eating and slowed down waiting for my lemon. Still no lemon. I went in and asked the lady for some, the guy heard and said he was sorry, there was a constant flow of customers, so I do kinda understand, then she brought me the lemon and I super enjoyed my last piece of fish. As I said, it did take a while to get our order but it was okay, the thing was that the smell just seemed to be teasing us and making us more hungry, but in the end it was worth it. My parents are tough F&C critics, but they liked it and I did too. Even my picky little brother who had brought in outside food liked the fries. :)
