After a few times having dinner there, each time the place, the food and the service is nothing but the best you could expect. The tapas and the sangria are the best of the best. Once we had the seafood paella and it was not that great. But the tapas, no matter which one are just delicious. Get there for yourself, take a date or friends and your will be in for a treat!
If you know about tapas, you'll have a great time (and food experience) at Sevilla -- we went Saturday evening; sat out front to see the nightlife. We had sangria, Red Guitar, gaspacho, shrimp ajillo, tortilla, and the blue cheese course for a fantastic dinner for two at around $50. The service was excellent; the music was lovely, and a more detailed review is at http://www.foodnuts.com
Cafe Sevilla has the worst customer service of any restaurant I have ever visited. Do not waste your time or money! First time: Paid in advance for the flamenco show, when we got there, the show had been cancelled. Someone could have called us to let us know. It was our anniversary, and we were left scrambling for a table. It was a big hassel. It was our anniversary. The manager talked us into saving the credit for the cancelled show and coming back another time. We agreed, and then proceded to spend more money at their restaurant. Second visit: Made reservations for party of 12. Called to confirm that morning. The reservation had been lost. Was told that they no longer serve large parties, but finally agreed to accomodate us, and I let them know we would be using a credit for the cancelled flamenco show from the time before. That night: We showed up early to have drinks and tapas in the bar before dinner. We were waiting for the rest of our party to show up. The assistant manager came over to inform us that they could not find any record of our credit in their system, even though he remembered us and the situation. I even had the show confirmation number from the cancelled show and the date the show was cancelled, and a copy of the receipt of all of the extra money we had spent there the night the show was cancelled. He would not budge or accomodate us. We never got our money back... We will take them to small claims court. They are crooks at Cafe Sevilla..... Never go there unless you are looking to be ripped off!!
I been there a dozen times. I definitely feel that
this place is great for a leisurely time to have and
enjoy the many tapas mini meals and a glass of wine.
As to dinner with a private environment this is not
the place for it. So evelyn, just drop by one afternoon and have tapas and a glass of wine.
This place is a big rip off. They have no idea of what customer service is. They charge for bottle service you get the bottle and the bill but they definitely leave out the service. I have been there 4 times and every time the service was horrible. They try to force more bottles on you but they never have what you want. You pay for the privacy and they do not inforce it. l have no problem paying for good service and I will never spend a penny there again.
Good, and Not so Good. Excellent food, we had vegetarian paella, beautiful and tasty! Flamenco Dancer show was really nice. The waitress was even good. However, items on the menu were NOT the price they said they were, so be careful when the bill comes. Very pricey.......and sneaky!
