Bounty Lounge, Bath

This place stinks!We decided to stay at the adjoining Holiday Inn for our class reunion because we remember The Bounty as a restaurant with great food and a fun atmosphere for drinking libations and socializing. Boy it's been a long time since school. The bounty of the today is horrible in both the dining and drinking categories. The portions were small and boring. Our dinner rolls came at the end of the meal (because they were not baked yet) and the middles were still frozen. I had a margarita with dinner that reminded me of bilge water. As for the social atmosphere - ho boy...We went back at 11 pm to have fun with some old friends. The barkeep was already cleaning up (bars in Bath close at 1am) and halfheartedly made us 1 cocktail and then told us to leave. She said the bar had been empty all night and she was going home. We came with 20+ patrons and would have gladly spent freely. Very disappointing. If you visit Bath and want to enjoy some real fun go to JR Maxwell's or some other wateringhole on the river. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy yourself.
