Sports Bars should always be in buildings no less than 50 years old. I like to see the cables and power cords hanging between big screen TV's and their power source.
Having said that this joint is much too sanitary for my likes. The seating is comfortable for event viewing only if you were recently released from the Hanoi Hilton. If there is one autographed picture of a sports legend I can't recall seeing it. The area used for vidieo poker would be much better served if you put a threadbare area rug down then a couple of stained 20 year old couches and worn out LaZBoy chairs to keep the rug in place. I WANT to smell the deep fryer when I go to a sports bar. Maybe this will all come with maturity but for now the sports bar suffers in it's infancy. The plus is that the bathroom is a mere 20 steps from the bar so waiting to pee can be put off until the absolute last moment when the Beavs fumble on their own 25 with 1:30 left on the game clock and no timeouts left. I've never been there when it was really packed but the clientel I have seen seems like a good crowd. I use this place to stop and see the last 10 mins of the fourth quarter on my way from the sports bar where I saw the other three quarters of the game. Not a pool table in sight either and a bar or tavern that doent have one of those makes me nervous
