We had gotten great reviews from this place and we have been going to the Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA location for the past 6 months. We even suggested this place to friends and family. We have always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere until today. The service from the so called owner Francesca was appalling. I was shocked to know that this person runs a business. After this experience we will not return to this restaurant. :-(
I have just eaten @ Slice of Brooklyn with my family and we LOVE it!! The atmosphere was perfect! They have great music, the inside decor is really neat and the food is wonderful! Everything about our experience was great. We will definitely be coming back again and again! If you are in the area and want a good pizza give them a try!
Food was ok but I suggest you have it to go. Music is loud and the acoustics are terrible. You hear a loud thumping base that kind of echoes in your ear. When asked the waitress to turn it down I was told no, the cooks have it on all the time and they like it. Hmmm, cooks won t have anything to do if that s how they chose to treat their customers. Won t be going back.
My family and have been repeated customers since the gran opening! Finally a place in Lancaster with REAL pizza! The food is amazing! Cannot get enough! The place is beautiful inside and very clean. You can tell the owner knows what he is doing. If you are thinking about eating here GO!!! You will NOT be disappointed!
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! The service was horrible!!! U have to ask for silverware EVEN NAPKINS! The mold on the rolls are free tho. When we asked management about it, they got nasty and defensive saying it was cleaning supplies the used on the counter. REALLY!!???!!! Either way, I shldnt be eating mold or whatever they tried to say it was. Also, there was a wrap that was CLEARLY ordered with NO ONIONS. It was loaded with them(go figure). We still paid full price for everything and had to deal with their ignorance. We were so nice to leave the wrap that they remade with broken toothpicks that were inside the wrap, on the counter as we paid as a reminder of how they shld treat customers. They also stated that they do not give silverware except for dinners. He sed that they would have to much to wash. HELLO!?!?! U have a business!!! If you serve food, u need silverware!!!! Then he tried to pin it on the new waitress(that didnt even serve us) and we explained that she is the only one that attempted to giv us silverware!!! Poor ownership!!! Please do not support these ppl!!! They do not deserve to run a business.
This place opened Monday and it is always packed. I drive by 3 or 4 times a day and never see a parking space available even though it has a pretty big parking lot. I finally got lucky today and found a spot to park and worked my way to the front counter to get a pizza. I just got a simple pepperoni pizza and it was awesome. You could just tell that the ingredients were the best quality. The crust is is nice and chewy, the cheese was so flavorful, the sauce was mildly sweet and somewhere buried in that pizza was a nice kick. Couldn't tell if it was the sauce or the crust. I can't wait to try more of the menu. After 4 days and as busy as they are maybe they need to expand already!
