Windmill Ridge, Alamo

These pictures are the old windmill ridge. The owner ms Frias has changed it and it is not this way anymore. It is terrible. We went to eat at the restaurant on Fathers day, the food was cold they then warmed it up in the microwave. The schrimp was no longer eatable and the corn and mashed potatoes were still cold. They then gave us a complete new meal and we started all over again with cold food. We will never go back there again. The schrimp were no longer the large schrimp. The baked potates never even melted the butter. The service was loasy and unfriendly. All the antiques are now gone and the place is very cold when you come in. It is no longer a friendly family restaurant. The baked goods are no longer there because all of the old help walked off their jobs leaving her with trash. These pictures are very deceiving now. She has runied our whole town and we no longer need her around. She has added 10 more cabins so now you cannot sit and eat your meal and look over the valley. All you see is a cabin blocking your view. The cabins are no longer decorated as these are in the picture. Very disappointing. The local people no longer go to windmill ridge because of the unfriendlyness and poor food and service. She also owns the Cowboys dream which sits in our front yard. Needless to say we have never been there and it has been here at least three years. She has nothing for the local people. Everything is brought in from Las Vegas. There are no outings just for Alamo people to get together. It would be nice to have a dutch hop or some low music that didn't wake us up in the middle of the night and have it just for the local people to enjoy. It would be nice to see some posters letting us know when there is an event. Everything is kept very quiet of what is going on in these two places. It makes us feel that we are being invaded and that someday we will be robbed from our land and homes because of her and the people she brings in. Thank you for your time.

I rate Windmill Ridge as a 5 STAR and then some! Food was amazing and service was great! I recommend this to anyone......

The food was excellent until they hired a new cook.....shame shame this kid is terrible.....

Nice place. Good food and very nice rooms. The area was quiet and attractive, I would recommend it to anyone.
