The sushi is great ! but .... i took a take away for the amount of 69$ yesterday .. and when i asked for Spicy meyo & unagi souce they litterly ask me 1$ for each souce ! isnt that a sham ???? its not for the 1 $ souce container it is for the meaning of that !!! why should i pay 1$ for souce container isnt that spouse to be a prt of the service ? ? ? ??? other than that the sushi is nice .
What a miserable dump. After waiting for 10 min. no one came by our table to even give us menus or water. I asked twice for the host and the server to please take our order, and both went to customers who arrived after us. Unbelievably terrible customer service. No wonder this place has so many 1-star reviews. DO NOT EAT HERE.
DO NOT EAT THERE. they are criminals.. they yell at you, embarress you and kick you out of their place like a dog!!! whoever the owner is should be behind bars!!!! I WOULD NEVER GO TEHRE AND SENT AN EMAIL TO EVERYONE IN THE HOSPITAL TO NEVER GIVE THEM BUSINESS.. RUDE AND GHETTO BUNCH OF CRIMINALS... SERVICE SUCKS AND FOOD STINKS..
That FAT Japanese man and the female waitress? both the rudest and ghetto people I have ever met anywhere!!! stay away from them.
This is my first note on the web ever but I feel compelled to say that my visit to this place yesterday was painful. This is without a doubt the worst sushi possible , it is actually a criminal act. Palo Alto city council should look into this.
The food was only ok, enjoyable evening until the waiter decided
that at 10:00 he had to kick us all out. We had spent a considerable
amount of money and were basically kicked out at 10:00 b/c the
waiters wanted to go home. VERY bad business practice not acceptable. The waiter was standing by our table waiting for us to pay,
never asked if we wanted tea, dessert, or anything else.
VERY RUDE Service, as locals we will NEVER to there again. Too
many other Palo Alto restaurants that know how to treat customers right. They did not care about their patrons one bit....very sad.
This is a great place if you like getting food poisoning. My fiance ate there a few days ago and he is still suffering from the unagi. Do yourselves a favor and avoid that cesspool. You'd have better luck eating out of a garbage can.
I have eaten here a few times. The food is okay, and generally the service tends to be poor. I would not recommend the Udon, the noodles are pretty good but the soup broth is very weak and flavorless. Bring some cash as there is a minimum $15 credit charge. Not bad if it is late or they are close, but do not go out of your way to eat here.
The service here is awful. We waited 15 minutes to be seated, even though there were plenty of open tables. Once we were at a table, the waiters ignored us until I bugged one a few times. After we (finally) ordered, the food came at a decent pace. When it came time to pay, we sat around for a good ten to fifteen minutes until I realized that I wasn't going to get the check (or anyone's attention) until I asked for it myself.
It's too bad that the poor service was more memorable than the food, because I don't think the sushi was all that bad. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
