Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine, Norman

Without a doubt the best Thai restaurant in Norman, and probably all of OK.

With excellent ambience and food (the prices seem quite reasonable to us), Sweet Basil is now our favorite restaurant for either a quick lunch or a romantic night out. We only know of two other Thai restaurants in Norman and anyone who thinks they are better than Sweet Basil ( and they are good restaurants) could only be an employee of one of them.

Best Thai food in Norman for sure, and the one of the best Thai food restaurants I have ever experienced. The ambience is perfect for any type of lunch or dinner, and the food is absolutely incredible.

My husband and I were driving around one day and decided to try this cute little place on Main Street. It was Sweet Basil. I have never tasted Thai food this good before. I actually crave Sweet Basil at least once a week. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent , the prices are very good and the Restaurant is very nice inside. There are always smiles when we dine at Sweet Basil. I would recommend it to anyone. It is wonderful. Go try it for yourself. Cheryl Bain

Sweet Basil is worth visiting just to see the huge salt-water aquarium. It is INCREDIBLE. And the Thai food is very good. Surprisingly, even though they are located in downtown Norman, where many of the restaurants are only open for lunch, Sweet Basil is open for lunch and dinner, and on weekends as well. Give it a try - for the fishies if nothing else! ;)
