My wife and I stopped here on our way to Savannah and were amazed. Everything was clean. The food was hot, delicious, and reasonably priced. My only problem with this restaurant is that it s so far away!! My wife and I eat at our local Mexican restaurant about every two weeks, and if El Morelia were in our home town, we d be switching to El Morelia. We look forward to coming back!
Best fajita meat in town, chips are always fresh and hot. Fajita nacho s are the bomb. Everything I ve tried has been good. If you went when they 1st opened, I encourage you to try it again. It is much better than when they first opened. They have NEVER messed up a to-go order either.
We met friends at this establishment for lunch on Jan. 2nd. We ate from the bar. There were 4 of us and we all agreed that it was the worst meal we had ever eaten in a restaurant! The food that was there was cold. I asked for more food and they brought out some rice. There were 4 burritos on the bar; 3 enchiladas, and little else. The pans had to be scraped to get anything. I did find a few fries to eat that were cold and hard. We should have been told the bar was closed. Hopefully the food on the menu is better. The Mexican TV dinners are wonderful compared to this restaurant.
We eat at El Morelia at least once a month, usually several times a month. Only once has the service been less than desirable, it is always clean, and the food is always great. No contest, our favorite place to eat!
