L & L Hawaiian Barbecue, Sacramento

I visited this location because of a Living Social discount coupon I purchased for this location only. Most of the L&L Barbecue greet the customers by saying Mahalo (Hello) or Aloha (Goodbye) which didn t happen. Laid out on the floor were two cotton towels that customers just walked over and ignored. I think there may have been a spill of some sort, but it stayed there the twenty minutes we were there to wait on our food. The floors are sticky especially underneath the tables. The manager came out to retrieve used trays that were left on the tables. And went towards the back to help the cook prepare meals, without washing his hands. The manager is definitly an animal lover because he had either cat or dog hair all over his black shirt. I would not recommend this location, but one would have to experience the customer service for themselves. I may have visited on a bad day, but I would not willingly ever go back to this particular L&L location again. Deal or no deal.

First of all, I'd like to say that my entire family and I are great fans of L&L several years now. We usually love the selections and price of the foods as well of the friendliness of their service.and we usually leave happy, full and very satisfied with your cuisine. I am writing because we recently visited the location on 1049 Broadway, Ste. 40 on 2-26-2010. When we arrived, we saw no one at the resister, but we did see some young guy with a tank top with numerous tattoos standing elsewhere. We were surprised when we came up to make our orders that the guy with the tank top and tattoos was actually our server. We ordered several items and found that the brown rice was very soggy, white rice in our meal and spam musibi was very mushy, cabbage, shredded, pork, and katsu chicken over cooked. We noticed that our egg and spam sandwich didn't have an egg in it and that the spam had black particles from an unclean frying surface, but we were too scared to make a complaint lest the servers retaliate with doing something gross to our food. Needless to say, all we got from our almost $40 meal was a stomach ache and we couldn't eat the rest of our food since it was so gross. This all was bad enough, but the actual eating areas were gross as well. The floors were sticky to walk on, tables were dirty, condiments sticky and tops were crusty, drink area filthy as well. I went to get some water from the fountain drink area only to find the water pink. (We asked for cups for the water and was given some very small 5 oz cups!) This visit was the worst I've had in a very long time As from me and our family, it may take a few months for us to eat at L&L again, but we will never visit this location again. I. have also informed all my other friends that are L&L fans, not to frequent this location either.
