Coastal Catering Company, Virginia Beach

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I've already gone back 4 more times, including a catered event. The menu is refreshingly different - fantastic fresh ingredients, healthy portion sizes, executed flawlessly every time... and at extremely reasonable prices?!? That is almost unheard of in Virginia Beach. The food is much better and less expensive than the high priced chains of Town Center and surrounding areas. Don't let the decor fool you - this is seriously good food! I've been in for both business lunches and casual lunches with friends, and everyone I've taken to this place has been impressed. I also think that the deli case is unique. It always seems to have a great selection of meals (at ridiculously low prices)... perfect to take for tomorrow's lunch at the office or for those nights when you want to enjoy a delicious family meal at home without all the hassle. I was told that they recently hired a new chef who was formerly the chef at one of the best fine dining restaurants in Norfolk. What a great steal! This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Virginia Beach. Don't hestitate to check it out, and be sure to save room for the turtle brownie!
