Oyster Bar on the Sky Terrace
Spend an evening enjoying an exquisite meal while viewing the snow covered Sierras and the lights of downtown Reno. You will dine under market umbrellas on a skyway perched over Virginia Street at the Atlantis Hotel . Start off with a crab cocktail, a satisfying blend of fresh seafood and house sauce. The Pan Roast is a seafood stew simmered in the finest wines, creams, spices and cooked to perfection. It is served with freshly baked bread from their own bakery. Oyster Bay on the Sky Terrace opens daily at 11am.
I have enjoyed seafood in my native San Francisco, Boston, New York, Baltimore and many other places. The Atlantis Sky Terrace Oyster Bar rates right up there in freshness, quality, consistency and ample portions not to mention an affordable price. The service is good and the setting is pleasant. I have been going back for years have never been disappointed. If you want a great Louis or delicious pan-roast, this should be your destination.
Situated right over Virginia Street, this little gem of a Restaraunt is treat to eat in. I do have to say, the Oysters weren't as good as at Oceano at the Peppermill, but they were okay. We also had the Sky Terrace Roll, which was also a servicable Sushi Roll.
I did kind of wish there was more Beer on Tap, but hey, what can you do?! A neat location, and I'd go there again to try other items off the menu.
I opted for the all-you-can-eat option here and got my money's worth. The sushi was delicious and came with all the fixings: wasabe, pickled ginger, cucumber salad, miso soup, green tea and green tea ice cream. Service was quick and friendly, seating was comfortable. My significant other chose to buy individual rolls and I noted the prices were quite reasonable. I will definitely come back here.
