Batter'd & Fried Boston Seafood House
Batter'd & Fried Boston Seafood House is the only Boston pub in Nashville and the ambiance is dead on. With old, thick, dark wood beams holding the place together, pub tables, wooden bench seating, concrete flooring, and walls plastered with Red Sox pictures and paraphernalia, Batter'd & Fried feels like an old corner pub in any fishing village in New England. The chowder, the burgers and the service are all excellent, and if you come on just the right day, you might even get a chef's special steak bomb sandwich. Located at the Five Points in East Nashville, Batter'd & Fried is a great place to catch a meal, watch a game, or just feel nostalgic for Beantown. - Lynn-nore Chittom
Took my boyfriend here before going to the Music City Improv and WOW! The service was tops and the owner came around to chat with us. The clam chowder is the best I have ever eaten and yes, you can stand your spoon up in it :) We had Sushi and it was excellent but the topper was the Boston Creme Pie! The waitress told us it always sells out and I can see why. It is so light, creamy and not too sweet. The presentation is beautiful as well. We will certainly be going back!!!
The location is great, and the food was fresh and very good. We had fried fish, and a couple of beers. Very friendly server on a week night. No one in our group had sushi, but planning on trying next time.
First time there. Service was great even when it was busy. The place is very dark and no ambiance. The food was was nothing special...much like any other fast food seafood place that had sushi. Yazoo and Sam Adams on tap was just great. Would recommend cleaning up bathroom and brighting up the place and doing something other than ho hum to the menu.
Worst meal I've had in Nashville. Took over an hour for sushi and was crazy expensive. I ordered fried pickles and they brought fried sweet pickles! The waiter tried to play it off as though that was normal. The sushi is the most expensive in Nashville and the worst. We had to grab water pitchers from the bar to get our own refills and a waiter saw us do this and didn't say a word to us only took the pitcher in the back of the bar and filled it back up with water.
I will never go back to this rip-off of a restaurant!
Batter'd and Fried is a great place to meet up with some friends. It has a very refined yet comfortable vibe about it, and the people that work there are just awesome.
The food is a bit too expensive for a daily hangout, but it's not too expensive. I would definitely hang out there once a week if I live in Nashville.
Check it out!

It may not win any awards for authentic Chinese decor, but the food here takes top prize. The menu offers
traditional Chinese favorites like moo goo gai pan, fried rice, beef broccoli and kung pao chicken, but the buffet ...
