I have been to several other PF Chang's other than this one. All are the same. Classic run of the mill franchise food. The cuisine is intended for folk who favor American style tastes and presentation. It typifies much of the Dayton food scene. This area is in desperate need of a real Chinese restaurant. A place that serves other than stir fry. As a testament, next time you go to PF Chang's look around at the clientele. Do you see many Asian folk? Why are there so few, they know better.
The food is good, but the dessert is great! I had general tsos... not the best I have had, but it wasn't the worst. The atmosphere is simply amazing! The staff is very friendly and keeps drinks filled. The cheesecake was the best I've ever had! I had the berry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle added. It was soooo delicious! I went back another day just for take out dessert! And will probably do that many more times! lol
Excellent in every way: I've always loved Chinese food, but PF Changs has spoiled me for any other.
It a bit pricier, but the food is extremely tasty and beautifully presented. The lettuce wraps are wonderful, and if you like spicy hot food you'll be very happy with the Beef A La Sichaun! I've never had anything I don't like at PF Changs in Miamisburg. The atomsphere is large, but if you sit at a booth it's intimate. I don't enjoy the open tables in the middle of the room, because they are not at all private. When you sit there it's like eating at the Cracker Barrel with a different kind of food. This area would be well suited for large parties, but not so much for one or two. However, this would not keep me from dining there, because the food is a real treat. The decorating is amazing and wonderful. The service is consistently excellent.
I have not been overly impressed w/this location. The food at the Columbus and Cincinnati locations is always excellent and consistent. However, I have not been as pleased with the food at this location. I'd rather drive the extra 30 miles and go to the one in West Chester (Cincinnati).
My wife & I love P.F. Chang's! The atmosphere and ambiance are excellent - darkened setting w/ intimate feeling seating, but not so dark you can't see your food! The space is large enough to accomodate larger groups, although you might have to sit at different tables. The prices are moderate to high for this area and cuisine ($15 - $20 plate), but the food is delicious. I recommend that you get the lettuce wrap - you'll love it. Lastly, watch out for the floors - for some reason they are extremely slippery, and if you are not paying attention, you will take a fall.
