The manager, Dusty, posted on facebook, which is a public social media website, that he was disgusted by people asking for a military discount. Fairbanks is a primarily military community. I hope he gets fired for this. If not, I m sure the business is about to lose an entire town of clientele.
The pizza was good, the kids ate everything on their plates (one with the spiral mac n cheese and the other with a burger and fries) Hubby's burger was cooked perfectly. Service was slow, but it was a busy restaurant, and only one waiter for that side of the room. Understandable that he was slow. However, he was extremely friendly. We will be going back and plan on trying other things on the menu. It was also decently priced compared to some of the pizza joints we've been to. Spent about $10 less than one place in Tacoma we frequented for our family of 5.
The pizza is not that good and it's expensive pizza, it's everything else on the menu that is really good. The wings are great and I always go for one of their pasta dishes. The staff has always been friendly and it has a sports bar atmosphere.
the last 3 times we swore we would not go back, worst service in town, all bar orders go thru a computer they spend most of the time huddling around. it is typical after 45 min. to maybe be done on your first beer while you wait for food and dream of another beer. sport screens are of poor quality size and placement.
I think it is a decent restaurant. It is nothing fancy, but nothing bad. The food is actually delicious, my experience with the waitstaff was better than some others around Fairbanks including Chili's, and the atmosphere is of that of any American chain restaurant. Actually on my way there now...
The place is a joke. Poor new management with no relavant past experiences who pretend to be the new owners but the place is still owned by the same absentee Canadian owners. Nearly all their quality kitchen and restaurant staff either left or were discharged and replaced with minimum wage employees. If you want good service and quality from a restaurant or choose to only support resturants that follows fair labor pratices you best go somewhere else. Most of the qulity staff from the past now work at Chili's restaurant, even the dish washer of three years now works at Chili's Restaurant.
I don't know what half these people are talking about. I would have to say that this resturant did have to grow on me but I found a perfect platter and since then love going. There alcholic drink are low in alchol though so they are not worth the price. As far as the food I have not had bad experience.
