Loco Coco's Tacos, Kittery

I don't get the popularity of this place, food is so-so I like al of the Portsmouth mexican food places better than this spot prices are ok and it is nice they have a lot of sauces out to try but I'd go someplce else

I don't know about the other reviews but I can't remember being so disappointed. I have been going here for lunch since they opened and the food has usually been above average, not great. i just went on a Friday night with some friends and I should have gone to Taco Bell instead. The waitress was rude from the start, telling us we better hurry up before the kitchen closes. The first round of margaritas were bland, salty and absent any taste of alcohol. The appetizers tasted like they were microwaved, the corn tortillas dried out and barely edible. We had to shame the waitress into making us a decent margarita, which she did but to the tune of $11.00 apiece. Overall a disappointing experience. Way over rated, pricey even if the food was great, which it wasn't.

Ive been eating there since it opened and every time i go i get the California fries. Gets me hungry just thinking about them.

This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. I was told to leave with my disability dog by a loud and obnious bartender that wears glasses. He screamed at my husband and I to leave. If you have a disability or know someone that does, I recommend that you boycott this reatuarant. It is only tacos and a bar.

Great authentic food! Has the sights, sounds, and tastes of real Mexico.

Last Friday (Aug. 1st) was my first time eating at Loco Coco's. we sat inside at the bar, and even though it was very busy, the bartenders didn't miss a beat. They worked very well together and seemed to be having a lot of fun. One of them recommended the grilled shrimp burrito. I had that and my husband had the Enchilada's verde. A little spicy for him, but he washed it down with one of several wonderful margarita's. The food was outrageous the service was wonderful, fun and entertaining. It is now our new favorite place to go. We will definitely be back very soon and we will bring friends.

Fresh & authentic! Can't beat that for a lunch!

If you crave authentic mexican food, try this restaurant. It is by far the best mexican food east of the mississippi. The salsa bar is superb, the selection of food is awsome, and the restaurant gives you a little piece of Mexico when you visit. The staff is always pleasant! A definite must try!

A previous reviewer complained about the service and Mexicans. This place makes some great burritos. Try the Seafood or Shrimp - excellent. Dos Amigos is good (if you like Mexican food made by college students). Loco Coco's delivers the real deal. This is food made by real Mexicans - they don't even speak English. How much more authentic can it be? They make very good food. Prices are reasonable - only abit more than Taco Bell, and TB is nothing compared to this place. Give it a shot. You'll enjoy it. Some of the best hot sauces around!
