Cheryl's by the Bay, Rockport

Wonderful cuisine from Equador and Brazil! This is not Carribean food. very unique and Cheryl IS the chef. Not to be missed! we go every chance we get. Also, don't miss the brunch.

My husband and I live in Rockport and Cheryl's Restaurant is on our rotation of upscale local favorites both in the evening for a nice meal with wines or for weekend brunches with mimosas. Fabulous fried oysters in season, and easliy one of the best fried shrimp recipes you will find . St Peter's fish is wonderful on the menu as well as your own catch prepared the way you want it. Also, Cheryl's is the only restaurant in Rockport/Fulton with Bananas Foster always on the menu ! This restaurant is right up there with Latitudes, and the private places such as Key Allegro Yacht Club and Rockport Country Club. The decor is funky and fun as this is a coastal resort area... a texas version of the florida keys.

We loved it! It's unlike anything we've ever experienced before! The food is so unique. We ooed and ahh'd with every bite! I can't wait to go to the coast again just to eat at Cheryl's!

First of all, the address is incorrect. It should be 112 S. Fulton Beach Road, Fulton, Texas 78358 Cheryl' is the best Restaurant I have ever dined in, the decor, the laughing going on from people having such a wonderful evening. The back deck is just un-real, the soft breeze blowing, sipping on a good glass of wine or having a beer. I drive around 100 miles to dine at Cheryl's. Sometimes I can hardly empty my plate, the food is so good and different. It isn't for the average person, it takes a special person to enjoy themselves, the atmosphere, and the great food. I always tell my friends, I need a Cheryl's fix, before I head to Fulton. Great place, if ever in the area, stop in and check it out. I gurantee you will not be disappointed, and have one of the best evenings you have had in a long time.
