Ukulele Brand's, Land O Lakes

I don't see why people like this place. Yes, the wait staff has been great, both times we ate there. The atmosphere has a that old Florida charm and overlooks a pond with lots of turtles you can feed. Maybe when the bands are playing, it's a fun place. I do always see that the parking lot is packed. But, the food is terrible!!! We have had the prime rib, the chicken philly and the chicken quesdillas. I would not eat any of those again. Even my quesadillas appeared to be deep fried. They were so greasy on the outside, I almost couldn't choke them down. When my husband had the prime rib, it was like chewing on a shoe. My husband did have the crawfish this last time. He enjoyed those. Maybe the hot dogs they are known for are great, but I don't eat hot dogs, so I can't say. We may give it one more shot before writing them off, only because the waitresses are so nice and they take good care of you. But, don't go here expecting a great meal that you couldn't cook at home (if you own a Fry Daddy and a microwave).
