This is a great little restaurant! It has atmosphere and authentic Japanese sushi chefs and staff. I always sit at the bar and the sushi chef is friendly and makes great suggestions when asked. The sushi is great quality, not cheap but not too expensive either. Maybe little known, you can byob here.. so stop by Town Hall and pick up some wine..
This place is one of my favorite places to eat. There is a good variety of sushi dishes, special rolls, and dinner items. I recommend the Volcano Roll and the Oyakodon.
The space is small enough to be cozy but, not too tight or cramped. The atmosphere is nice as a place to hang out during the daytime or to a have a good dinner in the evening. The only thing I would say, more as a warning, is to make reservations if you have a large party. Especially, if you decide to go during a holiday or busy time for dining-out.
I was surprised to read the other bad review about his place.I have gone there two times very resently and was very please.they offer a variety of the japanese cuisine. They have habachi, soups, eel bowls as well as sushi and a large appetizer menu. The place is small and calm. The service was fine, but the food was wonderful.Try the Suki Yaki!!!!!! Give this place a try,its small but good
They have all the typical McDonald's quality Japanese food. As if that wasn't bad enough, they weren't ready for customers until 45 minutes after their scheduled opening time. I was told they were ready for take out orders, so I ordered 3 maki rolls and some miso soup, but then had to forgo the soup because it wasn't ready yet. Twenty five minutes later, when I still hadn't received my 3 rolls, I asked if they'd started preparing them yet. The answer was, 'No, we are waiting on the rice.' They must not have known in advance they'd need sushi rice at this particular sushi restaraunt. Long story short, I waited 45 minutes for 3 rolls and was not even offered a soda while waiting. I only gave them one star because there was nothing lower.
