Romantic evenings just get better with the Melting Pot. Cozy couples can eat out of each other's hands as various dipping sauces in colorful pots show up at the table. An assortment of breads, fruit, veggies, meats, and seafood stay prepared to be dunked. However, be warned that the process takes time, and the service can get tardy. Business and group dining are also encouraged.
Food is good, but with changes to the menu, wasn t as good a value as the dinner for 2 before. The salad was tiny and wilted. Service started out fantastic, but then we waited quite a while between salad and entree. All in all it turned out to be a 3 1/2 hour experience. Will think twice before coming again.
we had a reservation and they made us wait over 20 minutes for a table. And instead of taking responsibility and telling us they would comp something they just tried to defend themselves and said it was not their fault. That's poor management. Also, the food is not that special and way overpriced. My advice: if you want fondue . . . do it at home yourself. If you pay this kind of money for a meal there are A LOT better choices out there . . . there are several in the vicinity of that place.
The food and experience was average nothing out of this world but the chocolate dessert was great!! But felt the entrees for dinner are way overpriced!! The one with lobster is suppose to be for a couple u get a lobster tail and a single portion get the same as well yet you pay the same price. A party of 12 with kids (5) was almost $900 outrageous with no cocktail drinks! Will NEVER go back and really the quality is nothing to brag about. Do not go there if your not willing to spend big $$$$....
I LOVE this restaurant, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Melting Pot in Pasadena.
We had a GREAT time, fast service, nice romantic atmosphere, and the food is always good. (My favorite is their California Orange Salad)
This is one of those type of restaurants that you'll sure to keep coming back
it was ohhhhkay. it wasn't worth the price though. the food was okay, but considering it is pretty pricey (we spent about $150 with tip for two people), we could have gone to a better place. i would not go again. although, the dessert was yummy.
This restaurant is amazing! I've been dining at the Melting Pot for a while and the last few months this place has changed for the better. A newer management staff and Mostly newer serving staff has helped change it into a friendly and amazing dining experience. If you don't know fondue, Don't eat here! The last person reveiwed said that the server added too much wine? The cheeses with wine added have a strong wine taste, DUH big Dummy! This place is great fun and if you can't afford it, Don't Eat there! Its pricey, but worth enjoying! If your not into Paying good money for tasty food and AMAZING WINE room (over 1,500 bottles Behind glass on display), in a romantic and secluded setting, then GO TO McDonald's cheap asses! Every restaurant servers food, what you are paying for at the Melting Pot is the atmosphere of almost every table being private and secluded with great lighting and a romantic ambiance. This place is awesome!
The food is overpriced for such a small portion. Our waiter was really bad in serving us. He left our pot burning, so it started to smell and smoke up everywhere. He added to much wine in our cheese fondue, so it tasted really bad. the only good part was the chocolate fondue, but that is something you can easily make. i don't recommend this resturant.
the worst, they act like their doing me a favor by letting me eat there, thanks but no thanks. There was a Melting Pot in Los Angeles, or West Hollywood that was great, this is not the same place. Call me when you get a better staff, or better yet manager.
