Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse
Brasa Steakhouse is an authentic Brazilian rodizio style restaurant. Rodizio is a method of serving fire-roasted meat that originates in Southern Brazil. We offer 13 different cuts of meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and chicken.
I dont understand why people are posting bad things about this place. The waitstaff was awesome, on top of our food, our drinks and the meat was great. We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience.
Have only been for Sun brunch twice. Lovely place with great food. Oddly the least favorite things on the menu for our family is the meat itself. The beef is sortof dry, (and always overcooked) the chicken is mediocre and don t really care for the sausage much either. That being said...everything on the bar is above excellent. The cold and salad items are highest quality especially the nutmeg infused banana soup. The waffle-omelet station is great and the waffles are the best in the whole wide world.
The grilled pineapple is great too. Overall, you must be able to eat a hefty amount to justify the $20 price tag for brunch.
I went there one day last week to celebrate the holidays with a couple of friends. When I got there, I was unwarmly greeted by the hostess. She asked if I had a reservation and I told her I didn't. She said the wait would be 45 to an hour, but offered seats in the lounge area to wait in. She never asked me if I wanted my name on the list. As I was waiting, no one in the lounge area offered me anything to drink. It took 30 minutes for a bartender to come and take our drink orders! When 45 minutes had passed and we questioned the hostess about the wait, we were told that we did not want our names on the list and if we added them, we would have to start our wait over and now it had increased to an hour and a half. She was not helpful. The manager raced over to see what the problem was. He only made bad matters worse. We politely told him that there was some miscommunication. Not only did he not offer a compromise for the miscommunication, he told us that we should go to Fratello's because it was affordable. He was very rude and condescending. He never gave us time to make a decision. At this point, we didn't want to eat there, so we left. If you want good service and good food, you're better off going to Fratello's or Fujisan. We ended up going to Fujisan because we wanted steak. We had great food and great customer service! I will never go back to Brasa. You have lost my business!
I was excited when I saw Raleigh has a Brazilian Restaurant. I have been to a few in different cities and Texas De Brasil is my favorite. I got to admit I was very disappointed. They had a good salad bar and the condiments were more than usual brazilian restaurants, but you go to brazilian restaurants for the meat. The meat was very bland (no seasonings) and you needed steak sauce, but you aren't suppose to use steak sauce for this kind of meal. The price is what you pay at other brazilian restaurants, but the quality of the food wasn't worth the price. Staff was good and friendly, but I doubt if I would go again.
I visited a few days ago and the menu item that almost, enphasis on almost, made it worth my trip and the $25 price per person for a lunch meal was the Paella. The meats were just average with nothing special as far a flavor goes, it all was rather bland and I have visited Brazilian Steakhouse's in CA. If you are looking for a good steak go elsewhere! Will not be returning.
Brasa is a cool concept, but I believe it is overpriced. The salad bar is a prett good deal for lunch. Sunday isn't the best deal though for brunch. Go on a weekday. The BBQ meatballs are great. Its a novelty experience, but not really something to return to over and over. The meat quality is average IMO. I used to work there and have dined as a customer for lunch. I think dinner is way overpriced for what you get. Great atmosphere and wine selection. Try it once if you never have been, but if you want a good filet look elsewhere. If you like new and trendy this might fit. Expect to pay $100 at least if you take a date.
This restaurant is my favorite of all! If you love grilled meat, this is the real mccoy! The ambiance, the food, the staff are just excellent! It's like the feeling I get when I go home for vacation and my family spoil me with their love and food. I love their signature picana, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, their roasted pineapple sprinkled with cinnamon, fried bananas, oysters and smoked salmon. I love the ever gracious and hospitable owner and staff, their music, the restaurant design, their location! I recommend this restaurant highly. Brasa is such a breath of fresh air.
My son took me and my wife as well as his wife out to your resturant for my 57th birthday. My wife has not stop telling everyone about the experance( the lobster tail )was so large and pleasing to the eye and so good ,the salad bar couldn't be better(a meal in it self) and to be honest I haven't quit telling everyone too.
