What the heck has happened to EL TORITO? The food use to be so good, and now it's really just so plain and gross, and what's with the shortage of cheese on the beans, enchiladas and tacos? Yes the service was good, but I like my rice to have flavor, and yes I like cheese so two shreds or shall I say dots cause it's not even shredded anymore, don't cut it, you got that El Torito? Let them eat cheese!!!!!

Food was really good BUT service sucked! There was only like 3 waiters and werent very attentive. Also we had to wait like 20 mins to be seated even if there was available tables but its first come first serve so they needed to sit a party of 10, we were just 2 people and there was 2 people tables...

THIS RESTAURANT IS BY FAR THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TOO. THEIR TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE IS SO MOUTH WATERING IN FACT I'D REALLY LOVE SOME RIGHT NOW...I'M OUT!

we recently ate here and sat at the bar, the service was so bad, the server forgot my drink, one of our plates were cold, and if we asked her for something, its like she didnt want to be bothered, we shouldnt of bothered to pay the bill?! what a joke!

I've been to more than a few locations and I've always loved it. So I was suprised when I went to the oxnard location, and the food sucked. It tasted like they burnt the beans, the hard taco shell was tough, the meat and rice tasted a little old, my bf's shrimp was not cooked all the way through, and the salsa had way too much oregano in it. All other location get a big thumbs up, but this location a big thumbs down.
