I went here for dinner with my friend. The food is ok but the service is horrible; not only that it was over price on the food.
I will never come here again.
I am highly recommend that you would go some where else for sushi or habachi NOT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN.
SHINTO IS A RIFF OFF RESTAURANT.
JUST A WARNING TO ALL BY BEST FRIENDS
I got ripped off at Shintos!! I use to go here at least once a week, but I usually paid cash, the last time I paid with my debit card. When I looked over my bank statement I noticed that Shintos overcharged me!! I went there, and after two trips they found out that the waiter added an extra 20$ to his tip!!!!!! Its the guy thats ALWAYS there waiting tables, fat asian with glasses..kind of nerdy looking!!! The lady said it was an 'accident' but thats BS we all know that you have to confirm the total, so he knew what he was going. All they did was give me the money back! Didnt say sorry or offer anything else! Horrible service! Their sushi is okay, but overpriced. Samurai next to Chucky Cheese is WAY better and WAY cheaper, and Im sure they don't rip people off !!! Im never going back to this sh*t hole again!
Sushi was awesome some of the best sushi I've ever had. However, it had some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. First they spilled soup all over me and then it took them 10 minutes to bring me a replacement soup. The waiter was rude and had a stupid comment to make about everything.
We really love Shinto in Lafayette LA! If you are looking for great service and quality rolls don't wait in lines go to Shinto. If you are looking for the most hip places in Lafayette go downtown, but expect to pay more and you must have a reservation.
Because Shinto is family orientated we even take our 7 week old.
it's great!! one time we were eating there and this girl just started choking on her sushi. the waiter, in no time at all, rushed over to perform the heimlich manuever to save her life. the food was great and the entertainment was action packed!!! i'm sure that that waiter got an extremely good tip from the choking girl that night!
