Outback Steakhouse, The Villages

I like Outback but this is the only truly terrible Outback I have encountered. Food is not good. Take out service is abominable.

Unfortunately, this is not one of the better Outbacks. The steaks are very bland like they purposefully changed the great outback recipe to accomidate The Villagers. Service was good but the meal...oh so disappointing!

On November 18, 2007, I brought a group of eight to dinner at 5:30 p.m. We were told it would be about 45 minutes but we could sit outside as soon as it was set up. The waiter took the drink & food order at 6:10 . Fine! However, our food didn't arrive until 7:20 p.m. The steak was over cooked, french fries cold, but by then we were so starved we ate it rather then complain and wait another hour. The server was very apologetic, but that didn't help. Not even a visit by the manager! This I find unacceptable! This is the second time it has taken so long for us to get our food. Longhorn will be coming soon. Hopefully you folks will get your act together by then!!
