King of the Roll, Portland

I went for the first time last night with some pretty cool friends. We ordered a wide variety of sushi and beverages. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Casco Bay roll was the best. I thought the final bill was high but the $10 bottles of sake add up quick. The service was ok, a little confusing with so many people on a Friday night, but overall I would recommend trying this place for sure.

I have a friend who works here, its a quaint and cute little place where the service is good and the food tasty.

The King of the Roll not only has the best sushi I've ever had, but the staff is great too! If you've never been get there ASAP! Thier daily specials and bento boxes are AMAZING. You've got to try the seaweed salad and Casco Bay roll! To die for!!!

First time at King of the Roll, this past Friday for our anniversary and what a treat. Usually disappointed w/ the usual fare at the local eateries and this time we actually ordered seconds. From the refreshing, complimentary, cucumber salad to the very end of our meal we were completely satisfied. Truly excellent food for a great price, an inviting and humble atmosphere. The best sushi that I have ever eaten. Great service and John Wayne is spectacular. Try the sweet potato maki-its amazing!

My favorite place is yosaku, but this palce comes in a good 2nd. very fresh for the price. Excellent service, and king of the roll offers a unique menu all their own.

I never liked sushi, always left a bad taste in my mouth, after trying for one last time at King of the Roll, I was very pleased and now its my favorite place to go. I will be going for lunch again today!
