I need to eat at Chili's on the nights that the other people who gave great reviews go. I have been eating at Chili's for 20 years and have never had bad experiences until moving to Kingsport. Our first visit there, the floor was so dirty and sticky that we almost walked out. Made me wonder what the kitchen looked like... We've also experienced lousy service, our food has come out cold, we ordered fajitas one time and still aren't sure if that's what we were served since they tasted so awful, and the best one - we actually found a dead fly in our nachos one day for lunch! I highly recommend you visit the Johnson City Chili's if you have to have their food. Given our experiences with the Kingsport Chili's, it's definitely worth the drive to us! And believe me, I have filled out an evaluation on this place every time, and I have yet to see any improvements.
Chili's has been my favorite chain restaurant for over 20 years. I've eaten in many of them in many states, including the original one. I love everything about it. Everything. Oh, and I used to cook for one in Florida, the kitchen was spotless, high quality, fresh, and great management. Our Kingsport and Johnson City Chili's live up to their great reputation.
SUPER SERVICE! Tully
My daughters, ages 8 and 13, LOVE going to Chili's in Kingsport. The servers there pay extra close attention to assure my children's needs are met, which makes my dining experience all the better. The food is wonderful and we all try something new each time we eat there. We have never been disappointed. Even my hubby enjoys it! We are always met with a smile and leave with the same. This is one place we don't have to wait 20 minutes to get our check after we have finished our meal. The restaurant is always clean and well managed. We even witnessed the bartender dismiss and unruly, and somewhat intoxicated, customer one night. Our waitress then apologized for the patron's behavior, and offered us a free dessert for having to witness such profane behavior. WE LOVE IT! I recommend it for couples, families, or even diners flying solo.
I ate at Chili's for the first time tonight. I loved it! the atmosphere was nice - tables weren't too close together and the var was a good size, decor was really nice! The food.. OMG the food was GREAT! I had the margarita chicken and tequilla shrimp combo. It was mouth watering- absolutely delicious!! Next time I want to try the Presidente Margarita!!
