Description

Right next to the Grand Palace Theater of Branson is a small '50s-style diner guaranteed to take you back to yesteryear. The staff is made up of aspiring actors, singers, musicians and songwriters, and it is not uncommon for one or a group of them to break into song and dance as they cavort around the tables. The menu is themed as well, featuring selections such as Cheese Release Me, a grilled cheese sandwich with all the trimmings for $5.29. Try the Love Me Tender Fried Steak for $8.59. A complete soda fountain lines the back wall with more than 15 flavors of soda and over 25 flavors of ice cream.

I take the family there everytime we are in Branson. We love the stampede, but, this is TRULY the most fun place to eat in Branson! Prices are reasonable, food is great, and the servers/singers are terrific!

We had such fabulous memories of bringing our son and watching him grin from ear to ear when the waitress sang to him. So we were disappointed when we returned this weekend with our granddaughter, and the only singer in the place was the cook, and he never had a break. There was one waiter there, and he worked his &^%$ off, but he could not keep up with the tables. I don't know if they expected a slow day or if people just didn't show up, but we probably won't try them again.

This place was the best dining experience EVER! My entire family had a great time! The food was great! Service was fantasic! Entertainment could NOT be better! All of the servers are also entertainers with great voices! They sang to my kids and really made it feel like a concert just for us! We all felt like VIPs! I can't wait to go back! TRY IT!!! You are gonna LOVE this place!

We just got back from a short Branson trip and got to eat at a number of places. We would certainly go back to the Hard Luck Diner. The singing staff did a great job of singing and a great job as servers. The folks there were very friendly and the burger and fries was good. We plan to go back on the next trip.

Did you know that they have one singer who went to American Idol a few years back, his name is Matt, he made it into the top 40's. NOW they have Jason Yeager, who is on this years American Idol. He is in the top 12 of the guys. Just goes to show you the talented singers/waiters and waitress they have at the Hard luck Diner.

Great Food - Great Waiters - Great People

The hamburgers were huge and they were real hamburger! Plenty of good food in a really nice shopping area. The waiters' sang great. I bought the CD of one of the singers Matt Kester in the gift shop. It is a wonderful gospel CD.

WOW! Best in Branson!

The waitresses/waiters are superb! The Hard Luck Diner is the best place in Branson for entertainment and good for food! I could stay at the diner all day and evening. Great soda fountain! These people serve, entertain, are friendly, and are caring. I have so many CD's of their music which I play all the time-gospel, country, crooner, rock N roll, etc. Cooks and bus people also sing. This is tops for me! Best place in Branson!
