Hard Luck Diner, Branson

I'm sorry to the other reviews and don't mean to be rude, but holy moly...this place was awful! THis was by far the worst meal I have eaten in the last year. We live in KCMO and are used to nice restaurants...maybe this place is good by Branson standards, but I'm not very impressed with those standards. The servers are mediocre singers who are not that great or they would not be singing/waitressing in a diner in Branson. The chicken tenders were rubbery and got sent back for an ok hamburger. The fish and chips were disgusting and I thought I was going to vomit them up. My husband had the pot roast which was stone cold in the middle...The only positive was that his strawberry shake was good! I was really disappointed and would love to never go near this place again! I'm not sure who is giving it the rave reviews, but unless we were there on an off night, I question their taste.

Great food and great entertainment. We always visit this restaraunt when in Branson. I highly recommend it. Great fun for the whole family.

HEY HEY I couldn't wait to get home and write a review about this place! What a great, cool, neat, awesome place. You can't help but feel good when you’re at the Hard Luck. We were a table of four. My husband and I both had burgers he had fries I had onion rings both with a soda. Are you ready for this! $20.00 IN BRANSON THAT IS CHEAP! So you’re sitting there eating and suddenly you hear singing and you know it’s live and you’re thinking where's the band! NOPE it is your waitress/waiter, walking all around the dinner singing. And I'm not even kidding they can really sing. They take requests too! I absolutely love the Hard Luck Dinner. Honestly I would vote this # 1 Casual place to eat in Branson. FUN FUN FUN! Food tasted great too, but stay away from the spaghetti I hear that’s not so good. LOL Really! Give it a try. I know I'll go back again and again!

What a wonderful, fun, entertaining family atmosphere. It was awesome!! The wait staff all sing and we had the best time. We will certainly go back. The food was delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check this place out!! It was one of the highlights of our vacation.

We have visited Branson over 20 times and we always make it a point to visit the Hard Luck Diner. The food is good which is what you would expect for a diner but the singing is what we really go for. Wouldn't miss it.

What a great place. We were from SC and stopped in because I love diners...Great food, Big food and fun. Stop there if you go.

My family and I just returned from Branson. We stayed for a week and visited many resuraunts and shows in the area. I have to say that this little Diner is a MUST! The men even enjoyed it... My grandaughter is only 19 months old and she was in awe as the singers sang to her. She smiled and clapped. They also have CD's available to purchase with their music on it, but they do not pressure you to buy it. The food is delicious and actually hard to eat it all. I never seen a hot dog or hamburger so big... : ) The prices are reasonable and what more could you want than good food and entertainment for one small price?
