SAD. When they were on 6th Ave it was great. Ever since the move it has fallen apart. Failing health inspections, higher prices, terrible service, low quality food. Last night was my final trip ever! Went in a little before 9:00 pm for a late desert, ordered 2 milkshakes, waited 25 minutes and by the time the waitress brought them they were completely melted into flavored milk. Then she was angry with me when I told her that was not acceptable.
Went to this restaurant last night and ordered Chicken Cajun pasta but with plain chicken and it was so tough I had to sent it back. My daughter had the spaghetti and the noodles were overcooked and dried out. This restaurant used to be one of our favorites but we have gone there for the last time. Oskees and Angelas will be getting our business from now on.
Gross! I don't see how this place has its doors open. The food is right out of the freezer or box-NOT HOMEMADE! BALND BLAND BALND The salad must have been prepared last week-brown lettuce and slimy peppers. The waitress was not very friendly and it seemed like people are just there to listen to the music. I would rather listen to music in my car and eat crackers while driving. NEVER again-I'll stick to the salads down the street at Oskees!
went to Mayberrys to treat my son and at first thought it was a good choice. Then we waited for 37 minutes at the table with no waitress or server so I flagged one down and asked why our order was taking so long she responded we have a party in the back and we are serving them first. I looked stunned of corse because you never make one customer feel less than another tell them anything we are swamped we are a cook short or what ever but never your not as important as someone else. I was so appalled we left but not before I heard her tell another set of customers the same thing so if you like to wait and wait and wait go to Mayberrys if not go to Dwights down the street they always treat you like your important..
Just ate their for the first time and must say I love the style and music. I love the oldies feel and its rare to find a place nowadays that takes you back in time, even before your own time as I was born in the 1980s. I had the chicken salad and it was excellent hope to go back very soon and try some more on the menu. I hope this place sticks around for the long haul so my daughter can enjoy a bit of history. :)
