This is interesting as the web site listed above and the address don't match. The web site if for Avila Beach, but the address listed above is for Grover Beach, a far cry from Avila Beach. Someone should check out their listing.

Stay away from this place. The store has changed ownership. The food is bland and I was deathly ill for days after eating there. My friends - locals - said that it was definitely not as good as they remembered.

I took Dienzo's recommendation. It was a Turkey Foccacia sandwich not Chicken, but that was a wonderful mouthful of flavor. It was big. I probably should have taken the second half of it home, but it was too good to pass up. The place was busy, so it took a bit to get our food, but the sandwich was great and those who know Avila beach know that the location is unbeatable.

Good food, nice atmosphere

Decided to have the sandwich that everyone is talking about. Much spicier than expected, but it was good. It's of turkey not chicken though.

lives up to the hype

A friend of mine recommended or should I say hyped up the Chicken Foccacia sandwich. I'm of the opinion that nothing ever lives up to the hype but this sandwich is the rare exception. Quality bread, tasty chicken slices - I'm not an expert, but I know what is good. Plus the staff was super friendly and the view of the beach is unparalleled.
