A long-time customer for several years until recently found a piece of steel in their food. The dish was took away and no apologize. I was even more surprised when I found out it is charged on the bill. Tried to argue with them and the only thing they can do is a handwritten $5 coupon, because they can not refund my credit card once being charged. What can I say. Won't ever come there again.
Took a team of people out for lunch on a Monday in March. Service was very quick for the lunch time crowd. I ordered a Spicy Fried Basil Chicken dish. It was very spicy, but not overtly painful. Either way I didn't stop eating it until I was full.
Overall, nice interior, good food, service was very good. This was a much better option than other Thai food that I have had in the area.
Finally found another Thai place after getting bored out of my skin with Thai Orchid. Both food and price @ Zab were great. We ordered the pad-thai and penang curry and they were both awesome. I will be going back here again. Service was good except for the fact that I got a side-plate when I asked for a second plate to split my dish.
Mi wife and I eat at Zab Thai about twice a month. We have never had a bad experience. Their specials, which change every few weeks (menu insert) are especially delicious. I **LOVE** the crispy basil salmon!!! And my wife loves the pumpkin curry.
The food here is excellent. I have had most of the items on the menue and they are all good. Also the Owner works there as the host and he is very quick to service you and he is very up beat. Also the Decor is modern hip and trendy. You can feel like you are in the Pearl District of Portland, but still in the burbs. J
I do love Thai food and ZAB was one of my first favorite restaurants here in town. I love their fresh rolls with peanut sauce and Pad Thai...I want to try their Tofu Delight and Curry next time I stop in. It is a nice place to meet friends for lunch.
