Delicious coffee, cute space, kind of an odd location without a lot of foot traffic.
Mokka's coffee is among the best in the Rockridge/Elmwood area. Far better than Beanery on College, probably better than Cole Coffee also. They do very nice latte art, don't overheat the milk, and very much pay attention to quality. As far as food goes, the sandwiches are good and well-priced ($5-6 rather than $8+ as some cafes are trying to charge these days).
The problem is somewhat the location. The cafe is pretty new, so people don't seem to know about it, so the place is generally empty. You feel somewhat doted on. Very nice contrast to, say, Starbucks, but not quite the atmosphere a lot of people go to a coffeeshop for.
i recently came across this cafe', and i must say that i was highly impressed...from the great coffee to the delicious panini to the warm and delightful service...i definitely give mokka 5 stars and would advise anyone who is in berkeley to stop by and give mokka a try!
