I LOVE this place! My fiance and I went there tonight for supper and it was amazing! I usually love going to Osaka, but I think MJ's will be my newest favorite place to go :) The couple that own and run it are absolutely adorable!
This is the BEST chinese food ever im really picky about what I eat but this place is the best food ever Always hot food and made fresh when you order I never liked crab ragoons until I ate them from here they are awesome!!! I always liked hyvee chinese until I ate here will never eat hyvees again.. Good sugestions are mongolion beef, breaded garlic shrimp.....awesome and sweet!
This place is great. It's not fancy at all, but the staff is great. They happily make changes to menu items to accomodate your diet and the cooking is fantastic. My family eats from here frequently, and we've never had any complaints. The prices are reasonable, too. Most menu items are $6-$8, and lunch specials are $5.
Obviously the people who reviewed this FANTASTIC place before were idiots, and have never had AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD. The problem with people today is, they are so used to americanized food.
This is a family owned and operated business, and these people are wonderful. The food is ALWAYS hot, and ALWAYS 100% authentic. For the lady who complained about the eggrolls, They are only the size of your index finger if you are a 500 pound woman, because my index finger is pretty small, and they have never been that small. And they are not $3 a piece, they are $1.50 for 3. Which roughly equates to .50 a piece.
The Eggdrop Soup, works wonders if you have a cold, as does the authentic hot tea, which comes straight from Vietnam. Also, the crab rangoons, are the best I have EVER had outside of going to ChinaTown.
If you're looking for a great, authentic, home cooked meal, you will not be disappointed.
But if you are used to Americanized NASTY chinese food, like Hy-Vee, Dynasty, or Buffet King serve, then you will not like it.
I do not recommend eating here! The flavor of my meal was very very poor. What really upset me was the size of their egg rolls for the price!!! I am not kidding you when I say they are about the size of your index finger, and they charge #3.00 for each. Overall, I paid $9.50 for some of the worst chinese food ever.
Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place!
the first time I went inside it was TERRIBAL!!! we went for the buffet and there was NOTHING to eat, everything was gone, they gave us one fork, spoon and knife, for three people. and the service was not good. the take out is really good AFTER 5 o'colck. they over price alot too.
