The best irish pub in New Hampshire. Great live music and friendly staff.

A nice, fun, relaxing meal. Great, authentic Irish feel. The waitress was very friendy. The onion rings and the Guiness Beef Stew were the best I've ever eaten. The drinks are not dirt cheap, but they are reasonably priced.

The Bartenders make great drinks and good live music.

Expensive food, VERY expensive drinks and a staff that seems to have trouble totaling up the check correctly. They seem to make errors....in THEIR favor if you get my drift..... Had that happen twice. It won't happen a third time...... Not much in the line of local flavor at this place. It seems part of a continuing proliferation of bars/restaurants that are springing up in downtown Manchester with a goal of servicing the crowds from the VW Arena

My wife and I ate there today for an early lunch. We were the 2nd customers there and waited over 15 minutes for a server to come to the table for our drinks and to give us menus. We finally ordered our food 3 club sandwiches and a wrap, after waiting over a half hour for our food the 3 clubs came and the wrap never did. Our drinks were never refilled nor were we asked if we wanted refills. No one ever came to the table to see how the food was, therefore no one knew the wrap never came. I was told when I told the waitress that I never received my wrap that it was sitting in the back for over 20 minutes and she laughed. Very rude staff. Tried several times to reach a manager and kept being told there was no one there until after 10 PM. Will not ever go back there and do not recommend it at all.

The Shaskeen used to be a great pub, when it first opened. Now sadly it has gone downhill quite a bit. The service is terrible (see CB's comments). The staff are lazy. Go here only if you wish to be ignored. Unfortunately management does not seem to want to start a fire under the servers and bartenders to get a move on. They are slow to serve and are not attentive to those that want more than one drink. Wake up management, you are letting money go out the door! The place will go out of business if they don't do something about the couldn't care less staff! It's sad. Go to the Strangebrew! They know how to serve customers.
